WHAT MAKES 28 HOURS FOR ME DIFFERENT?

  • Executive women​ who have either retired out or are at the pinnacle of their careers, serve as mentors, advocators and facilitators. They actively participate from beginning to end. These include presidents of colleges, CEOs, EVPs of global companies, and more.
  • Total retreat size is 24 to ensure a participatory, personalized experience.
  • Held at Beaver Hollow in Java, New York,​ attendees are immersed in the beauty of nature, and participate in Beaver Hollow’s custom designed “Mindful Mile” to clear their heads to maximize learning.
  • Cell phones are off​ and packed away! ​
  • Attendees check into rooms early and check out late so their retreat time is not interrupted.
  • Beaver Hollow’s chefs are known for culinary excellence; every meal is artfully crafted​ to provide a fresh, organic, and healthy experience.
  • Attendees go through executive coaching​ to learn about their natural talents and how to leverage them ​ www.strengthsfinder.com
  • Participants receive all volumes of Fish Rot from the Head Down​ with selected chapters chosen based on workshop.
  • Workshops are small​ so everyone actively participates in discussion, learning, and sharing.
  • Team building and networking​ allows the group ongoing support in the quest to become effective leaders.
  • Diversity in age, race, and career level​ – experiencing firsthand what it means to learn from others.
  • Graduates are part of a 28HoursForMe group​ on LinkedIn, allowing continued dialogue with others, including 28HoursForMe facilitators.
